Project Manager
Position Overview:
Project Manager to perform a variety of management and operational tasks. Duties of the Project Manager will include providing support to the President, assisting with client relationships and managing our organizations projects. All work can be done remotely. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like Smartsheet, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam and Office 365 suite. Experience working directly on large scale construction projects like HealthCare and State projects as well as experience working directly or indirectly with Firestop and other Passive Fire Protection products is required.

Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project engineer and manage responsibilities, daily schedules, and projects.
- Lead and coordinate necessary meetings with clients.
- Organize, design and implement FireWise services on multiple projects.
- Researching, designing and presenting solutions to clients via email or online meetings.
- Collaborate with the entire design, construction and inspection team to create a successful chain of communication so all parties understand changes as they come about.
- Problem solving general client requests that come in via phone or email
- Client management including jobsite and relationship development.
- Design, review and quality control of Firestop Engineering Judgements
- Researching of products, systems and construction modifications to eliminate EJ’s
- Provide Plan review via BlueBeam
- Work with team members to research and develop new business development ideas
- Be lead on working with clients as it relates to providing proposals and customized programs to meet their needs.
- Attend necessary industry association meetings and trade shows to further education and grow branding/networking for business.
- Additional duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
- Must be proficient in typical construction-based software like BlueBeam, PlanGrid, Procore, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Construction Industry (OSHPD and CA State Fire Marshal experience preferred)
- Must be able to present high level of problem-solving ability
- Must have the ability to be self-motivated and think outside the box
- Detail oriented mindset a plus.
- Must have experience in Firestop either as a manufacturer, testing laboratory, General Contractor or sub-contractor.
Working Conditions:
- Working remotely from a home office is acceptable, remote office space or co-working space will be provided as necessary.
- Work directly with the President, manage Project Engineer and outside vendors as required
- Some tasks or meetings require completion by the end of business (PST) making daily hours fluctuate
- Employee can work anywhere within North America as long as they understand they will be based around Pacific Standard Time working hours and need to travel to that time zone.
- Travel is required 2-4 days per month, as requested
